ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.9 of 2005 on the file of the first respondent the Inspector of Police, CCIW - CID, Chennai and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Today, Ms.S.Vasanthi, Inspector of Police, CCIW - CID, Chennai, is present before this Court.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner passed away on 11.11.2015.

5. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that investigation in Cr.No.9 of 2005 has been completed and the case has been closed as "mistake of fact" on 16.08.2013 and the closure report has been filed before the II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Allikulam, Chennai.

Recording the same, this petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
