ORDER

Heard Mr.M.Palaniswamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent.

2. The petitioner is the Vice-President of the Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society Ltd., In this Writ Petition, the petitioner seeks for a direction upon the first respondent to pass an order of disqualification invoking Section 34(6) of the Tamil Nadu Co-Operative Societies Act 1983 against the second respondent and to prevent him from holding the post of President of the said Society.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that after the Writ Petition was filed, a notice has been issued by the first respondent under Section 34(6) of the Act on 06.01.2016 and action has been initiated against the second respondent.

4. In the light of the above, the first respondent is directed to finalise the proceedings pursuant to the notice dated 06.01.2016, after notice to all concerned and the proceedings shall be concluded within a period of three weeks.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
