Respondent PRAYER : The Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to pass order in MP.No.154 of 2016 in RCOP.No.56 of 2014 on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif, Poonamallee.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition for disposal of the application in MP.No.154 of 2016 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the aforesaid application in MP.No.154 of 2016 was filed to pay the arrears of rent to the petitioner. Counter statement has been filed by the respondent and posted for arguments. At this stage, the respondent has filed an application in I.A.No.58 of 2017 to implead the petitioner's vendor in the main RCOP, which is pending.

3. In the light of the above, this Court is inclined to direct the Rent Control Authority to dispose of the applications in IA.No.58 of 2017 and I.A.No.154 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with above direction. No costs.
