Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the representation dated 25.04.2023, seeking for cancellation of the document bearing Doc.No.56/2006 dated 01.02.2006. This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is the case of the petitioners that the 5th respondent, who is the erstwhile power agent of the petitioners 1 to 5, sold their property without their knowledge and hence, the present writ petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief and the petitioners are represented by a new Power of Attorney Holder.

4. The representation itself indicates that the document in question was executed in the year 2006 and the petitioners, without approaching the Civil Court, have approached this Court under writ jurisdiction, after 18 years. Further, the Registering Authority has no power under any of the provisions to cancel the document in question. In view of the above, this writ petition stands dismissed.
