O R D E R

This Court in Crl.OP.No.18792 of 2024 directed the respondent to complete the investigation in Cr.No.97 of 2024 within a period of 45 days and file final report, alleging that the respondent has not completed the investigation, the present contempt petition is filed.

2. The Inspector of Police attached to Kilpennathur Police Station and incharge of the Vettavalam Police Station has filed an affidavit stating that on completion of investigation, the complaint in Cr.No.97 of 2024 was closed as charge abated and final report filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kilpennathur. RCS notice served to the petition and he appeared before the learned Judicial Magistrate and the matter is now posted for orders for further proceedings on 19.07.2025.

3. Recording the above statement made under oath by way of an affidavit, contempt petition stands closed.
