ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent-police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. 1/3

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is a habitual offender indulging in rowdy activities, extortion, etc. and a History Sheeted Rowdy Book was opened against him in H.S.No.3172 of 2016 dated 02.11.2016 and that respondentpolice have visited the petitioner's house only for routine check-up and that the respondent police are not harassing the petitioner.

3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this criminal original petition stands disposed of accordingly. It is made clear that the respondent-police shall not unnecessarily harass the petitioner.
