Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the Tahsildar, Vellore the second respondent herein to consider the representation dated 27.05.2014 in respect of issue joint patta to the land in Survey Number 213/1 to an extent of 1.24 acres, in survey number 213/3 to an extent of 85 cents and in survey number 215/3 to an extent of 3.44 acres in favour of the petitioner and his family members.

By consent, the writ petition is take up for final disposal.

The petitioner on an earlier occasion filed a writ petition in W.P.No.22701 of 2013 before this Court for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation regarding issue of joint patta to the land in Survey Number 213/1 to an extent of 1.24 acres, in survey number 213/3 to an extent of 85 cents and in survey number 215/3 to an extent of 3.44 acres in favour of the petitioner and his family members. This Court by an order dated 28.10.2013, has directed the second respondent to consider and dispose of the application dated 01.07.2013, within the stipulated time frame. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that in spite of the representation dated 27.05.2014 followed by legal https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
notice, no order has been passed by the second respondent. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.R.Sugumaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.RAS.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents 1 to 2.

It is pertinent to point out that though this Court by an order dated 28.10.2013 made in W.P.No.22701 of 2013 has directed the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2013, the second respondent for the reasons best known to him, has not chosen to pass any order and the said conduct on the part of the second respondent is deprecated.
5. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the representation/application, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation/application of the petitioner dated 27.05.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned.
