2. It is well-settled that the writ petition against the co-operative society, is not maintainable, as held by the Larger Bench of this Court in K.Marappan V. The District Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Namakkal, reported in 2006 (4) CTC 689.

3. For all the aforesaid reasons, this writ petition fails and the same is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. However, it is made clear that this will not preclude the petitioners from filing the revision under Section 153 of the Co-operative Societies Act seeking regularization or any other appropriate relief, if they advised so.
