The relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition to call for the records pertaining to the order passed by the second respondent in his proceedings Roc.No.945/Ad.1(3)/2012 dated 18.09.2012 and quash the same, and direct the respondents to prepare interse seniority between Tutor Educator/District Communication Officer and Taluk Project Nutrition Officer/Child Development Project Officer and give corresponding seniority in the cadre of Assistant Director an to give further promotion as Deputy Director from the date on which his junior was promoted with all the consequential benefits.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has written a letter to the petitioner for instruction, despite that the learned counsel has not received any instruction from the petitioner. Moreover, the petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking promotion, however, the petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation in the year 2013. nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
