to 5 herein to remove the public road laid down in the petitioner's patta land situated at Survey No.704/1C2 at Pallikaranai Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai, to an extent of 3640 sq.ft. 2.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the claim of the petitioner made in his representation dated 03.02.2024, after giving an opportunity of hearing and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
