This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.18 of 2014 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Salem District, within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor for the respondents

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that a case in Crime No.18 of 2014 has been registered by the respondent Police.
