Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.02.2015 and thereby taking necessary action for protection of public pathway.

2. The petitioner states that the property in Survey No.620/12 is his ancestral property and along with his brothers he is holding a joint patta. Survey No.620/13 is a pathway and the property in Survey No.620/14 is owned by one Devendran the 6th respondent herein. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The petitioner claims that the 6th respondent occupied the public pathway in Survey No.620/13 and started creating nuisance to the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioner sent a representation dated 04.02.2014 to the respondents and since no action has been taken, he has come forward with this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Ms.S.Nithiya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Mr.RAS.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents 1 to 5.

4. This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 04.02.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice the 6th respondent and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as the 6th respondent.
