Though the prayer in the writ petition is to direct the 1st Respondent not to effect any promotions to the Commercial Inspectors as Foreman Grade-I against the recommendations of the Committee Report dated 31.05.2014, without taking any policy decision as per the directions of this Court in order dated 12.01.2015 made in W.P.No.31173 of 2014, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the 2nd respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the representations of the petitioner dated 25.03.2015 and 20.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a stipulated period.

2. In view of the limited prayer made during the hearing of the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of, by directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representations of the petitioner dated 25.03.2015 and 20.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
