ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) Notice dated 07.01.2026 issued under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 is under challenge in the present writ petition.

2. Under Section 10 of the Act, petitioner has the right to file an appeal before the District Collector concerned. The District Collector is empowered to conduct an enquiry and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with the law.
