Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records on the file of the second respondent in its proceedings in No.14 (09)/DI/Estt/ IRBn/2016-1014 dated 4.10.2016 and quash the same.

O R D E R

The order of punishment issued by the Commandant, Police Department, India Reserve Battalion, Puducherry, is under challenge in the present writ petition.

2. The service matters arising from and out of the Government Orders of Pondicherry is notified under the provisions of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. Thus, the matter has to be heard by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chennai Bench.

3. In this view of the matter, the Registry is directed to send all the case papers immediately to the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chennai Bench for further adjudication.

4. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
