This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is by the petitioner seeking to withdraw R.C.A.No.10 of 2018 pending on the file of the Appellate Authority Rent Controller (Principal District Judge) Puducherry and to transfer the same to the Court of the Chief Small Causes, Chennai.

2. The petitioner is the landlord. Due to the long pendency of the appeal, he approched this Court for transfer of Rent Control Appeal filed by him from Puducherry to any of the Rent Control Court in Chennai.

3. On notice, the respondent appeared through counsel and submitted a copy of the order passed in R.C.A.No.10 of 2018. It is found that the Rent Control Appeal, which is sought to be transferred, was allowed on 28.03.2019, after admission of the above Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication. It is open to the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to approach the Rent Controller for early disposal of the petition. The petitioner need not have any apprehension that the Rent Control Proceedings would be protracted. We are hopeful that the Rent Controller will dispose of the Rent Control proceedings as expeditiously as possible.

4. In fine, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected civil miscellaneous petition is closed.
