ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the second respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner and the revenue officials to survey and mark four boundaries to the petitioner's property measuring an extent of 58 Cents situated in Survey No.248/2 in Amani Vellar Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2025.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner owned property ad-measuring 58 Cents situated in Survey No.248/2 in Amani Vellar Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District. The petitioner submitted an application in order to fix the boundaries and to fence the property before the revenue authority and paid the requisite fees. When the surveyor was about to survey the petitioner's property, there were obstructions by the adjacent land owners. Therefore, the petitioner sought for police protection.

4. In view of the above, if any surveyor is engaged to survey the

petitioner's property and if the surveyor finds any hinderance while surveying the property, the surveyor can very well seek for police protection before the second respondent. On receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to provide adequate police protection to survey the petitioner's property.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition petition is disposed of. No costs.
