ORDER

The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking a direction to the respondents to pass orders on the representation dated 15.11.2010 and reminder representation dated 19.03.2015, on merits and as per law.

2.The petitioner, who appointed as Water Supply Attender with effect from 01.06.1994, was retired on 31.01.2015 on reaching the age of superannuation. His grievance is that his retiral benefits, have not been considered by taking into account his date of initial appointment for which he has given representations dated 15.11.2010 and 19.03.2015 to the Regional Director of Municipal Administration/ the second respondent herein. Since the same has not been disposed of, he is before this Court.

3.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents sought eight weeks time to consider the representations of the petitioner.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

5.Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representations dated 15.11.2010 and 19.03.2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
