ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to grant permission and protection to the petitioner and the other villagers to perform and celebrate the festival in Arulmigu Sri Sakthi Mariamman Temple in Kadagathur Village, Dharmapuri District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. It is seen that this petitioner had made an application to the police, for conducting the festival of Arulmigu Sri Sakthi Mariamman Temple, Kadagathur Village, Dharmapuri District, which is under the HR&CE. The respondent Police by their order dated 14.06.2015, have denied permission, on the ground there is an apprehension of law and order, if permission as sought for by the petitioner is granted.
