ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to initiate the investigation and register the First information report on the complaint dated 15.05.2015 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, F5 Police Station, Choolaimedu, Chennai - 94.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.288 of 2015. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR No.288 of 2015 and act in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
