Vishal Singh ..Respondent(s) Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to pass orders in the petitioner's application dated 15.10.2025 within a time frame and till such time, forbear the respondents 5 to 7 from any manner dispossessing the petitioner or alienating or encumbering the property measuring an extent of 1744 sq.ft., in R.S. No.16 part ad 17 art, Manavalanallur Village, Virudhachalam Town in the sanctioned plan of Housing Scheme Area, Manavalanallur in Virudhachalam SMT Scheme bearing House No.M16-A-25.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 15.10.2025 filed under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, (in short "Senior Citizens Act") against the respondents 5 to 7, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner is a senior citizen. He has lodged a complaint against the respondents 5 to 7 under the Senior Citizens Act on 15.10.2025. Since the said application has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for early disposal of the said application.

3. Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 5 to 7, notice to them in this writ petition is dispensed with.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the third respondent if a direction is issued to the third respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 15.10.2025 submitted under the provisions of the Senior Citizens Act, on merits

and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 to 7, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's application dated 15.10.2025 submitted under the provisions of the Senior Citizens Act, after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 to 7, and after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the respective parties, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the aforesaid application of the petitioner. No Costs. W.M.P.No.8808 of 2026 is closed. 06-03-2026 RKM To
