PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent police give protection to the petitioner and his family against the life threat given by the respondents as per law.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent police give protection to the petitioner and his family against the life threat given by the respondents as per law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the third respondent along with some rowdy elements are threatening the petitioner with dire consequences. Hence, he seeks police protection.

3.Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the even for his own complaint, the petitioner is not cooperating for the enquiry.

4. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents police.

5. Such view of the matter, the second respondent police is directed to issue appropriate notice to the petitioner for enquiry and on such notice, the petitioner shall appear for enquiry and co-operate with the investigation. During enquiry, the respondents police shall decide for issuing any protection by considering the reality prevailing.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
