Crl.O.P.No.5141 of 2024 T.V.THAMILSELVI, J.

This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner/accused -2 on bail in crime No.38 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the respondent police arrested the one Raja for illegal possession of 21 kgs of Ganja. Based on his confession the petitioner implicated in this case as A2. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not involved in the offence as alleged by the prosecution and also based on the confession statement of A1 the petitioner arrayed as A2. Hence, he prays to allow this petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that apart from this case the petitioner is having other two previous cases which are similar in nature.

5.Considering the gravity of the offence and also the petitioner is having two similar cases pending against him. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
