O R D E R
Writ Petition has been filed for Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to issue patta to the petitioners for their respective residential portions at Suramangalam Main Road, South Row Pallapatti, Salem 636 009.
2. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are the occupants of their respective residential portions at Suramangalam Main Road, South Row Pallapatti, Salem 636 009 and they made applications for issuance of grant of pattas to the respondents 1 to 3 under the Revenue Standing Orders, however till date, no order was passed for grant of patta. 3.Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court permits the petitioner to file a fresh representation for issuance of patta under the Revenue Standing Order, based on their occupation.
4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents has no objection for said order being passed.
5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case permits the petitioner to file a fresh representation for issuance of patta under the Revenue Standing Order, based on their occupation, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the 2nd respondent shall consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a further period of four weeks from the date receipt of the fresh representation.
6. This writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
