ORDER

The petitioner was appointed as a Secondary Grade Teacher in the retirement vacancy of one Mrs.J.Iydai Florence on 6.6.95 and she also joined duty on 6.7.95. After completing the B.Sc. (Maths) in 2007 and also acquiring the M.Sc.(Maths) and B.Ed., https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

degrees in 2012, she became eligible, it is pleaded, for the post of P.G.Assistant (Maths). Whereas the fifth respondent has been promoted as P.G.Assistant (Maths) by the fourth respondent by bringing him from outside, without considering the petitioner, as per Rule 15(4)(i) of the Tamil Nadu Recognised Private Schools (Regulation) Rules. Therefore, the petitioner has filed an appeal on 8.9.2017 to the first respondent. But the same has not been considered. Hence, she has been advised to come to this Court.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 sought for eight weeks time to consider the pending appeal of the petitioner.

3. This Court hereby directs the first respondent to consider the pending appeal of the petitioner dated 8.9.2017 on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
