This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 03.02.2020 wherein the petitioner has sought for cancellation of the patta issued in favour of the 5th respondent.
2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the petition submitted by the petitioner has already been forwarded to the 2nd respondent viz., Revenue Divisional Officer, Thiruvallur https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and the Revenue Divisional Officer has directed the Tahsildar to conduct an enquiry and send the report to the office of the Revenue Divisional Officer. Consequently, the Tahsildar, Thiruvallur has already issued notice to the respective parties and the date of enquiry has been fixed as 18.03.2020. 3.In view of the above development, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders after giving an opportunity to the petitioner and the 5th respondent, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No Costs.
