O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register FIR against the named said persons on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 29.03.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the complaint dated 29.03.2016 lodged by the petitioner before the Superintendent of Police, Tiruppur has been referred to the Inspector of Police, Tarapuram Police Station for enquiry.

4. On a reading of the complaint dated 29.03.2016 it is seen that the petitioner has alleged that a sum of Rs.30 lakhs has been transferred by the petitioner into the account of the opposite party and after receiving the money, the opposite party has absconded. Hence, this is a case to be enquired into by the District Crime Branch.

5. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear in person before the second respondent police along with this order and lodge a fresh complaint, containing the very same contents as stated in the previous complaint dated 29.03.2016. On receipt of such complaint, the same shall be enquired into and action be taken thereon in accordance with law, if it discloses the commission of a cognizable offence or drop action otherwise.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
