ORDER
Both the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) representing the respondents are present.
2.The perusal of the records will show that the complaint of the petitioner dated 17.07.2014 received by the Inspector of Police, City Anti Land Grabbing Cell was pending on his file and the complainant approached this Court by way of Crl.OP.No.21648 of 2014 for direction to register the petitioner's complaint and to investigate and to file final report within the time fixed by this Court. This Court by order dated 14.08.2014 in Crl.OP.No.21648 of 2014 directed the Inspector of Police to deal with the same in accordance with the directions of the Hon'ble Apex Court in Lalitha Kumari V. Government of Uttar Pradesh - (2014) 2 SCC 1.
In spite of the direction of this Court, the petitioner's complaint was sought to be closed by the Inspector of Police and the same compelled the petitioner to approach this Court by way of the present contempt petition. The first respondent/Inspector of Police thereafter forwarded the complaint dated 17.07.2014 to the jurisdictional police station i.e, B9 Saravanampatti Police Station, Coimbatore on 13.06.2015 and the same was registered on 13.06.2015 as FIR in Cr.No.310/2015. The perusal of the records further reveal that though the complaint is dated 17.07.2014 the date of the receipt of the same is entered in column 3(b) of FIR as 13.06.2015 at 18.00hrs. In view of the same, the jurisdictional police station is also directed to treat this order as forming part of the records relating to the case in FIR.No.
2015. The investigating officer of the concerned police station is also directed to investigate into the FIR and file final report as expeditiously as possible. . 3.The contempt petition is accordingly ordered. tsh SD/- DEPUTY REGISTRAR(CLAA) //Certified to be true copy// Dated at Madras this the day of 2015.
