ORDER
The petitioner has approached the respondents with her representation dated 22.10.2020, seeking to mutate the patta in her name as concerning the property in S.No.79/2 of Palavakkam Village, Saidapet Taluk, Chennai District.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.E.Balamuguran learned Special Government Pleader enters appearance for respondents, and made a statement on instructions that the enquiry for the purpose will be held by the Revenue Divisional Officer (South Chennai), at 11.00 a.m., on 11.05.2021. He added that the authority concerned has not been arrayed as respondent. The said statement is recorded.
3. Since it is customary for this Court to provide value added service, this Court chooses to suo moto implead the Revenue Divisional Officer, South Chennai, and he is now impleaded as the third respondent. 2/4
4. In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the Revenue Divisional Officer, South Chennai / third respondent is directed to hold an enquiry after issuing notices to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks (after the conclusion of the General Election of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly, 2021) from 11.05.2021.
