Respondent in all WPs PRAYER in all WPs: These Writ Petitions have been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue an order of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioners' applications dated 25.02.2015 (dealt with in R.No.12042/2015, R.No.12044/2015 and R.No.12043/2015) for the grant of Contract Carriage Maxi Bus Permits in respect of Vehicle Nos. TN-19/C-8053, TN-19/C-1324 and TN-19/C-4164 forthwith and pass further orders. For petitioners : Mr. K.Hariharan For respondent : Mr.R.Lakshmi Narayanan Additional Government Pleader C O M M O N O RD E R These three writ petitions are filed seeking for a direction to the respondent, the Regional Transport Authority, Meenambakkam, to consider their applications dated 25.02.2015, wherein they have made a request for grant of permit for Contract Carriage Maxi Cab. As the said applications dated 25.02.2015 have not been considered and disposed of, the petitioners have come to this court.
2. Mr.R.Lakshmi Narayanan, Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. With the consent of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
both the parties, the petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This court, considering the limited prayer made by the petitioners, without going into the merits of the case, finding that the petitions are pending for quiet long time, hereby directs the Regional Transport Authority, Meenambakkam, the respondent herein, to consider the request of the petitioners and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, preferably within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
