for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to act upon the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2025 and to consequently remove the illegal iron bridge connecting the 4th floors of the A and B Wings of the City Centre Plaza bearing Old No.3, New No.7, Anna Salai, Chennai 600 002 as also the illegal iron sheet roofed shed / construction put up in the 6th floor terrace thereto by the 3rd respondent. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.) The writ of mandamus has been instituted to direct the 1st and 2nd Respondents to act upon the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2025 and to consequently remove the illegal iron bridge connecting the 4th Floors of the A and B Wings of the City Centre Plaza bearing Old No.3, New No.7, Anna Salai, Chennai as also the illegal iron sheet roofed shed / construction put up in the 6th floor terrace thereto by the 3rd respondent.

2. With reference to the complaint made by the petitioner, the respondents 1 & 2, as the case may be, is directed to conduct field inspection and survey the subject property and in the event of identifying any unauthorized constructions/deviations, all appropriate actions are to be initiated by following the procedures as contemplated. The learned counsel for petitioner would submit that the connected bridge between two blocks of the building was constructed by the third respondent unauthorizedly. The said allegation also may be verified and if the construction is found to be unauthorized, actions are to be initiated by following the procedures. The said exercise is directed to be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
