The above petition is filed to condone the delay of 1849 days in filing the above appeal.

2. The respondents though served have not entered appearance. Sufficient reasons have been given in paragraph nos.4 and 5 of the affidavit filed in support of the petition for condoning the delay. Accordingly, the delay is condoned. However, the claimant is not entitled to any interest for the delayed period.

3. The Registry is directed to number the appeal, if otherwise in order.
