ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 14.08.2023, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.K.Anbarasan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 1 & 2.

3.The petitioner was aggrieved by the order passed by the 2 nd respondent dated 15.02.2023, cancelling the natham patta. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the 1 st respondent and the same was kept pending without passing any orders. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3/5 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 1 st respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 14.08.2023 on its own merits and in accordance with law and final orders shall be passed, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
