The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 13.03.2009.

2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner states that on account of certain allegations, the disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the writ petitioner and after conducting enquiry, an order of punishment was passed in proceedings dated 02.01.2009, imposing the penalty of stoppage of increment for one year with cumulative effect. Against the order of punishment, the writ petitioner preferred an appeal on 13.03.2009 and the same is yet to be disposed of. 3.Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the appeal submitted by the writ petitioner on 13.03.2009 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. directed to enclose the copy of the appeal and the reminder along with the order passed in this writ petition. 4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
