ORDER

The wife, who is the respondent in HMOP No.283 of 2024 pending on the file of Subordinate Court, Thiruvottiyur is the revision petitioner herein, seeks transfer of the said proceedings to Family Court, Coimabtore. 1/4

2. The respondent has been served and counsel has also entered appearance on behalf of the respondent. However, there is no representation on the side of the respondent and even on 06.08.2025, there was no representation on behalf of the respondent and therefore the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption "for orders". Even today, there is no representation for the respondent. Therefore, I have proceeded to hear the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has taken me through the affidavit filed in support of the transfer petition and contends that the petitioner being the resident of Coimbatore is unable to attend the proceedings pending before Subordinate Court, Thiruvottiyur, considering the distance and also the hardship caused to the petitioner to undertake to travel from Coimbatore.

4. I am satisfied with the reasons assigned by the petitioner/wife, seeking transfer of the proceedings from the file of Subordinate Court, Thiruvottiyur to Family Court, Coimbatore.

5. Accordingly, Tr.C.M.P is allowed and the proceedings in HMOP No.283 of 2024 pending on the file of Subordinate Court, Thiruvottiyur is 2/4

withdrawn and the same is transferred to Family Court, Coimbatore.

6. The Subordinate Court, Thiruvottiyur is directed to send the entire records relating to HMOP No.283 of 2024 to the file of Family Court, Coimbatore forthwith.
