The instant Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to revise the seniority list issued by the Director of Drugs Control/ second respondent in R.Dis.No.15768/E1/03 dated 13.03.2009 and took place the petitioner in appropriate seniority position and grant all consequential benefits. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner had retired from service and the respondents have also paid all the retirement benefits and the petitioner is not 2/2
interested in pursuing the matter, any further. Therefore, the learned counsel for the petitioner prays for dismissal of the Writ petition as infructuous.
3.Considering the fact that the petitioner has already retired from service and has been got all the retirement benefits from the respondents and not interested in pursuing the matter any further, this Writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
4.However, the petitioner, in future, wishes to continue the prosecution of this case, he is at liberty to file an appropriate application before this Court. No costs.
