Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act to punish the respondents for wilfully disobeying the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.23626 of 2016 dated 12.07.2016.

O R D E R

It is stated by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents that the order passed by this Court in W.P.No. 23626 of 2016 dated 12.07.2016 has already been complied with. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner

submits that some of the amounts are still outstanding, though the amount paid is in terms of the order passed in the writ petition.

2. In view of the aforesaid submission of the parties, especially the fact that the order passed in the writ petition has been complied with, this contempt petition stands closed. However, the closure of the contempt petition shall have no impact on any other claim of the petitioner outstanding, which was not covered by the order passed in the writ petition in question. Therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to ventilate such grievance if so advised, permissible under law in an appropriate manner notwithstanding closure of the contempt petition.
