The above Civil Miscellaneous Petitions have been filed seeking a direction to declare the 1st respondents Deepika Shri as major in the above appeal and to permit her to prosecute the above Appeal in her own name and discharge the 2nd respondent Mrs.G.Lalitha from the guardianship of minor 1st respondent in the above Appeal.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for petitioners/appellants submitted that, at the time of filing appeal, the 1st respondent was a minor and now, she attained majority. To that effect, her birth certificate was produced. Hence, the above petitions have been filed to declare the 1st respondent as major and also to discharge 2nd respondent from the guardianship.

3. Mr.J.Pothiraj, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of 1st respondent in the above appeal.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances, these petitions are allowed. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the cause title and post the matter on 16.08.2023.
