Respondents PRAYER: The writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 1st respondent in connection with the impugned order passed by him in letter No.64694/Courts VI/2013/3 dt 29.9.14 and quash the same and direct the respondents to promote the petitioner notionally as Director of Prosecution and grant him all consequential service and monetary benefits. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had died. In spite of intimation given to the legal heirs, they had not contacted him to take necessary steps to bring them on record as the Legal heirs of the deceased petitioner and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as abated. No costs.
