This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the learned Judicial magistrate-I, Jayamkondam to expedite the hearing in CC.No.83 of 2017 and complete the same within a stipulated time.

Heard the submissions of learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Jayamkondam to expedite the hearing in CC.No.83 of 2017 and complete the same, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
