ORDER

Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the third respondent. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose the Appeal No.K3/11591/2014 dated 28.04.2014 within a time frame.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's appeal dated 28.04.2014, the first respondent has not passed any order so far.

4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, who took notice for respondents 1 and 2, submitted that the first respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal in accordance with law within the time frame.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 28.04.2014 preferred by the petitioner in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested persons, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of . No costs.
