Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 31.10.2025 of the petitioner and pay the retirement benefits (Excluding the already paid DCRG) and the pensionary benefits of the petitioner's mother namely late Mrs.S.Yasbi Gnanchariam Tharabai for the period 19.07.2007 to 15.08.2015 with interest. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 31.10.2025 of the petitioner and pay the retirement benefits (Excluding the already paid DCRG) and the pensionary benefits of the petitioner's mother namely late Mrs.S.Yasbi Gnanchariam Tharabai for the period 19.07.2007 to 15.08.2015 with interest.
2. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage. Since no adverse order is going to be passed, notice to the 7th respondent is dispensed with.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue direction to the 7th respondent to forward necessary proposal to
the 2nd respondent and also direct the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the same within a specified time.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondent will consider the representation of the petitioner as well as the proposal and pass appropriate orders on the same within a specified time.
5. In view of the above, there will be a direction to the 7th respondent to forward necessary proposal to the 2nd respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receiving such proposal, the 2nd respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the same by considering the petitioner's representation 31.10.2025 within a period four weeks, thereafter.
