The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner as per the Online Application dated 06.01.2023.

2. The petitioner in respect of property at T.S.No.72/3 situated at Ayanavaram, Chennai made an online application on 06.01.2023 to the respondent for issuance of patta. In order to consider the said application and to pass orders thereon on merits within a time frame, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.M.Rajasekar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and orders would be passed thereon on merits within a time frame.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent, this Court directs the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 06.01.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the 2/4

date of receipt of a copy of this order.
