T Dheenadayalan v. The Inspector Of Police
C.V.KARTHIKEYAN , J.
The petitioner had filed W.P.No.2745 of 2024 in the nature of mandamus seeking police protection for the petitioner and his property, consequent to an order by the XI Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai in I.A.No.3 of 2021 in O.S.No.2057 of 2021 dated 12.07.2023. It had been observed by the learned single Judge of this Court as follows: "This Court had stayed the investigation in Crime No.69 of 2024. In the light of the observations that have been made in this writ petitions, it is left open to the 5th respondent to take a decision on the FIR that has been registered".
2. One interpretation which could be given to the above observation is that the investigation in crime No.69 of 2024 had been stayed. Therefore, at present, there is no apprehension for arrest. The reasons on which the present application had been filed seeking anticipatory bail, therefore does not exist as on date.
