The Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking direction to the V Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai for disposal of O.S. No.5242 of 2017 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner in this revision petition, this Court is inclined to dispose this civil revision petition even without notice to the respondents.

3. The petitioner herein filed a Suit for declaration that he is entitled to the covered cart parking area in "GH" Block in Alsa Manor shown as J-0 in the sketch annexed to the plaint and for a permanent injunction.

4. A perusal of the adjudication sheet filed in the typed set of papers would suggest that trial in the Suit is already commenced and PW1 was examined in chief on 29.03.2023 itself. Even after lapse of one year, there is no progress in the suit and the same is at the stage of PW1's cross examination. Therefore, this Court is inclined to direct the Trial Court to dispose of the Suit as expeditiously as possible.

5. Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 22.03.2024 Index : Yes / No Speaking order : Yes / No : Yes / No mjs 2/3
