ORDER
(Order of this Court was made by M.S.RAMESH.J,) This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records of the proceedings of the first respondent in D.C.C.No.42 of 2024 dated 28.09.2024 and quash the same.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent, as well as the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.
3. As against the order passed by the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry dated 02.01.2025, a remedy of appeal is provided for under Section 37 of the Advocates Act, to the Bar Council of India. This court, in exercise of its powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, will not entertain the writ petitions, bypassing the appeal remedy, except for a very few exceptions like violation of principles of natural justice, lack of authority, etc. None of the grounds raised in the present writ petition, will fall under these exceptions. Therefore, we are not
inclined to entertain the present writ petition.
4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
