Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to sanction and pay the DCRG, arrears of pension and inclusion of petitioner wife name viz., Mrs.Indrani nominee for Family Pension by considering his representation dated 24.01.2018 in pursuant to the letter of the third respondent dated 09.11.2017.

ORDER

Mr.R.Madhu, a retired Forest Officer, has been receiving his pension. However, he made a request for disbursement of the D.C.R.G., and for inclusion of his wife's name as a nominee for family pension. Pursuant to the said request, the third

respondent has also requested the second respondent on 9.11.2017 to furnish some particulars for the sanction of D.C.R.G., and the inclusion of wife's name for family pension. Thereafter, there was no progress made. Hence, a representation dated 24.1.2018 has been given to the respondents for payment of the D.C.R.G., arrears of pension and inclusion of his wife's name for family pension. But the same is pending. Therefore, a direction be issued to consider the representation.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that within four weeks, the case of the petitioner would be considered by passing a detailed order.

3. This Court hereby directs the petitioner to furnish a copy of the representation dated 24.1.2018 along with a copy of this order within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to the respondents. On receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to forward the same to the third respondent and thereafer, the third respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such proposal. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
