ORDER
The present petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to make certain corrections in the revenue with regard to the extent of the property, and to issue patta with the actual extent.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and 2/4
makes a statement on instruction that the enquiry for the purpose is scheduled to take place at 1100 p.m., on 24.05.2021 before the District Revenue Officer, Chennai Central, the third respondent herein. The said statement is recorded.
3. In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given, except that the District Revenue Officer, Chennai Central / third respondent is directed to hold an enquiry after issuing notices to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks (after the conclusion of the General Election of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly, 2021) from 24.05.2021.
4. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
