Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to allow this Criminal Original Petition by directing the Mahila Court, Chennai to dispose of S.C.No.202 of 2014 pending before it within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Mahila Court, Chennai, to dispose of the case in S.C.No.202 of 2014, pending before the trial Court within a time fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the arguments in S.C.No.202 of 2014 on the file of Mahila Court, Chennai was over on 16.09.2016 and on 17.09.2016, the trial Court has altered the charges and the case is now posted to 22.09.2016.
4. Recording the same, the trial Court is directed to expeditiously complete the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The accused shall co-operate for the trial and if he adopts any dilatory tactics, the trial Court may remand him to custody as held by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in State of Uttar Pradesh Vs Shambu Nath Singh reported in JT 2001[4] SC 319.
