Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the Revision petition dated 03.05.2018 filed against the order of the Sub Collector, Hosur dated 06.04.2018.

4. It is seen that the Sub Collector, Hosur, has rejected the request of the petitioner for grant of Patta. Challenging the order of the Sub Collector, Hosur, dated 06.04.2018, the petitioner preferred Revision petition. The present writ petition is filed seeking to dispose of the said Revision. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent viz., Revisional Authority to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondent to dispose of the Revision petition dated 03.05.2018 filed by the petitioner as against the order dated 06.04.2018 passed by the Sub-Collector, Hosur, after hearing all the parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
